Need tips on handle bar internal wiring

Hey guys, Im helping a friend put some new drag bars on his WG today... we are running the wires through the bars... any tips on getting the wires ran through on is it really this hard? Thanks in advance!

It's not bad...Use a vacuum to suck string through each side of the bars, attach harness to string and lube up the wire harnesses with windex and they'll go through.

I have 16" Apes on, I was able to tie a small weight to the end of some fishing line, and feed it right down the bars. Tied the fishing line to the wires and pulled them right thru.
