99.9% of the time yes. Better safe than sorry. After seeing a family member of my wife's get cut off by a Ford Explorer and his head go through the rear glass, that was enough to make me stick with my full face. He lost a bunch of teeth, they had to put his eye back in his head, and he had an uncountable number of stitches all just in his face. Seeing him lay there on the road like that was enough to leave an impression.

Plus, I wouldnt want to damage this pretty face now would I?

I am now saying yes all the time, as I just had a quarter sized piece of skin cancer removed from the top of my head.
Just got a new Biltwell, so it is still not DOT.

In the 60s and 70s, long before helmets became mandatory in California, my dad used to tell my brother and I not to wear helmets, because we wouldn't be able to hear a car coming up on us. It's funny because we always wore helmets when we rode our dirt bikes, but never wore them when riding street bikes. Now, I'm 57 years old and I always wear a full face helmet when I ride.

Never.

Statistically, you're no safer with a helmet on than off.

Personal choice.... The ONLY time I voluntarily wear a helmet is when it's below 30°F, because it's warmer.

I live in Ohio where common sense prevails enough that if you're over 18, the choice is yours...

I choose not to...

But I never pass up an opportunity to post a pic of my favorite helmet...

I always wear one. I'd rather look like an *** than get hit and have my head up someone's ***!

Everytime I hear about a fellow biker injury or death, I think I should start wearing one. Watching gruesome crashes on youtube will get ya there too. At the same time I need better leathers so if I go down the way I ride now, with jeans and boots, I'm gonna be hurtin. Keep the greasy side down! I always say...

My very first crash when I was 16 I had a helmet save my head. ALL of my crashes since then (none in the last 22 years) I have been lucky. I have always owned a full face helmet and prefer wearing it in rain, cold and it makes grasshoppers and bees not hurt so much, other than that I chose not to most of the time. It has been a while since I have lived in a helmet choice state.
