Looking at a 1997 vs. 2000 heritage softail classic. Both bikes have about same miles 37k. The 2000 model runs about 2k higher in price - which would be better?
What are the prices of the 2 bikes? Personally, I wouldnt even consider buying an Evo. I like the twin cam, so to me its worth the extra money. I have no experience with Evo's but I know a lot of people on here do, so I am sure they can help more than I can.
Miles are good for both bikes/years, but definitely provide added details (price, condition, accessories, etc.). Can't give u an honest answer w/o added detail(s)...
If the EVO is what you are wanting than get it......but I would look at alot more than the motors. Both motors are going to last along, long time if taken care of.
If you are wanting to add accesarries at a later date, like the seats, back rests, ..comfort up grades... I would get the 2000. All of the Heritages from 2000 to 2006 are pretty much interchangable.
Good luck with your choice and welcome to the forum!
