2008 cross bones

I am coming up on 8000 miles i noticed oil mist on bottom back side of rear cly. around the small slit on case just before the trany.

it could be coming from the vent on the tranny but a friend of mine has an 07 deuce that developed a leak there due to poor machining on the cases. lucky for him it was still under warranty and fixed at no charge. good luck

I had that at 3500 miles brought it to the dealer and they decided it was the silicone gasket that must have had a air pocket that finally popped. So I gave it to them and they split the cases resealed it and gave me new rings. No oil there anymore.

I had a leak on the cases on an 07 Fatboy... back to the dealer it went. I was told that they had a bunch of them that year, pulled engine split and resealed cases under warranty.
