Ive met you, live near you, and ridden with you - and I'm tellin you, our two dealers are ridiculous. I had my Hookers, basically big radius for almost a year before I did anything to the AC or fuel management. I never had a problem. Do the V&H, ride with em for a while, when you can afford it, get a new ac and comp and even if they do offer a flash, dont do it! For the amount they charge for a flash, your damn near buying a power commander. If you get the power commander and are worried about installing it, call me and I'll help you install it man, you still have my number.
You have someone local that will help you out. Go for it!!

Not to highjack the thread, but I've gotta question.

I've got a EFI Deuce. When I bought the bike it had a thunderheader 2-1 and a hypercharger intake. I bought a set of 2-2 Big Radius Pipes, and at the same time had my trusted indy install a set of Andrews 37 cams. Now, it already had the HD stage 1 download when i bought it. My indy mech says I really dont need another tune. I'm seriously considering a PCIII and dyno.. I just got the bike back 2 weeks ago, I've only ridden it home from the indy, about 13mi (no rides since then) I took it rather easy... So i haven't really had a chance to let it rip.

Do you guys think I should get dyno'd with the new cams?

If you ask 10 engineers how to solve a problem, you'll get 10 different solutions to that problem. It's just human nature. On the Internet, everything has been tried, someone's bike runs perfect, someone's bike blew up.

IMHO, Call up FuelMoto (I'm a happy customer and in no way benefit from their service), and tell Jamie what you want. Get a set of pipes, intake and tuner. Your bike will run better, sound right and you'll get great support from him if you can articulate what you do/don't like about the setup. Do the work yourself, it's really not hard to do, and I'm not that mechanically inclined.

I don't think ANYONE will disagree that you will get the best bang for your buck by doing all three things, and run the least likelihood of causing a problem.

Just another $0.02...

agreed that you need the big 3 - AC, PIPES, COMP to be tweaked out really well, but a lot of people cant afford all 3 at the same time. I think what the OP was posing more than anything is, if he were to get the pipes now, and wait for the rest, is he going to really hurt the motor.
