LOL...you are good Maimas! It's actually Palm Coast/Flagler Beach area, about 15 miles N of Daytona on A1A. Sunday morning...riding south, surf crashing off to your left, mist rising, salt air, ahhhhhh...my favorite morning ride.
I have done the Jones/Meadowbrook and Ocean Parkway rides BTW, but that was on my VStar It's nice coming up the Wantaugh at sunset after the crowd leaves and just cruising or taking a ride out to the old OBI.
Toastman...I am 60 miles N of the city...what some city folk call "upstate"...lol.
I was wondering about this myself. Got the "new" Heritage a couple months ago (bone stock) and was surprised/disappointed how tough it was to keep it at 90 mph. Hoping the pipes/intake/fi module will help out with this.
P.S. I'm in Germany so no traffic laws broken here, if anyone's wondering!

I've been on the Ocean Pkwy many times, or as I like to call it, The Giddy up Hwy, its like riding a horse when you are running over the joints in the rodeway...
Can't wait, very soon I will be riding it again, From Captree to Point Lookout and Back again... Just as soon as its warm enough...

If I remember right, I grew up down there. The pic she has shows the bike next to a black top covered road and the ocean parkway down by the old OBI is still 50 year old two lane cement, hence the Giddy up Highway.
The bike is also facing the wrong way if its on the ocean side of the roadway.
Last time I rode a bike down there was about 10 years ago on a borrowed 82 FXB Shovelhead. If I get half a chance this summer I want to ride my Custom down there for the Sunday OBI cruise in.
Call me wimpy, but I hate the highways that are 65mph and above.
If me and the wifey can we try to stay off the highways and cruise the back roads. She has a Sportster and at 65 mph you feel like the wind is going to rip you from the bike. My Deluxe is a lot better but after about 30 minutes of holding on my arms are tired. I guess thats what fairings are made for. Also my bike seems to scream at 70mph and I hate to hold it there for long periods.
