Default Quick Tire Fix

What do you use to fix a flat tire out on the road when there is no where to go to get it fixed? I am riding to Panama beach for Thunder Beach and was wondering what to take in case of a emergency and a fix?

I have tubeless tires on factory mag wheels so I carry a tire plug kit and a home-made cylinder adapter to allow me to remove a sparkplug and screw this in and a air hose to connect to it.The good thing is I only carry this when I go on long trip and have never had to use it !

I have been looking at the same things. I have a buddy who swears they work but only for about 30 miles or so.

I carry this. It has just about everything you need except tire spoons.

Have you ever had to use it and how does the air pump do? That would be a good setup Thanks.

I haven't had to use it yet. I bought it on the recommendation of a friend of mine that puts about 70,000 miles a year on his bike and he has used it. He said the compressor will air up his tire (he rides a BMW) in about 3 to 5 minutes. The thing I like about it over Co2 is that you can put as much air in as you need/want and if your 1st repair doesn't hold you still have air after you do it a second time without having to carry a bunch of the Co2 cartridges.

For tubeless wheels; Stop'N'Go plugs. They work great!! I also carry
a small 12 volt air compressor in a saddlebag on the Heritage to air the tire.
