This kit is really nice and looks great I have a 2006 Heritage and the bags were allready starting to sag. I had no problem with the inside of the bags install but the edge piece that goes over the outside top edge of the bags was a pain in the **s to get on. But they look great and I haven't done the lids yet. They glue on and need 15 hrs to dry, And it's ridin time so I'll do those Sunday night. If your bags are starting to sag this is a great way to fix the problem. I ordered them on the 24th they arrived at my door on the 27th that's pretty strong service I thought. Tom
I put the "Got Saggy Bags" on last winter, after only a few months the bags were sagging. After the install (which really was sort of a pain) the bags look great and have looked that way ever since. This was money well spent!
I put them on mine too. I just left them off the bike for a day and rode naked
The top rail was easier to put on by "greasing"up the edge with leather conditioner. I used the cutoff pieces from the inside to help spread the leading edge, and then slid it on...it was still tight though....I had to persuade it the last bit with a mallet.
Hey I forgot to tell you that there at www.gotsaggybags.com they were 119.00 plus 5.00 shipping. They shipped the next day, I called the number on the sight to get a tracking number and the guy said they are on your front porch. And sure enough they were. I will do the lids on Sunday evening to finish the kit. They make a great difference in the look. Tom
Harleywood I need a bench like that, that would have made a difference.I have the tops preped just needing a piece of wood close to the size. I'll just have to do them on the floor. But thay look great on your bike. Mine looks good without the lids done but they came in the kit so why not put them on. Tom
Sorry guys...saggy bags for me... I'm going for the retro look on my springer. Solo spring seat, two-piece fender, suicide shifter, etc...just as soon as the wife gets her own bike and off the back of mine..
