I have an 07 Springer Classic and the Alternator has failed. My bike has about 35000 miles on it. Anybody else having Alternator problems ? It also had a hard bang style start, about 3 times. They found a broken starter gear tooth. I'm woundering if a low battery had something to do with the starter not engaging fully. The bill is right at a thousand bucks. I had bought an extended service plan that goes out in November. I'd rather be lucky, than good anyday. (Richard Petty). Otherwise happy motoring.
