I almost have my bike finished where i want it for now except i would like to lower the rear about 2 inches for no other reason than looks.is there any tech information available on this project or can anyone tell me the best parts and any tips on on the best way to do this.I do all my mods and maintenance myself so taking it to a dealer or shop is not an option
Use the search function, there have been I can't guess how many threads on how and what to use to lower a Softail.
And don't exclude reading about other models, all Softails use the same rear suspension setup. So what works on a Fatboy or a Nightrain will work and fit just as well on a Custom.
Even the Deuce, who's often the odd man out has pretty much the same rear suspension parts as the rest of the Softail line.
