Default Front brake line length

I am still looking at switching to braided control lines. The bars, brake, forks, etc. are all stock. My front brake line is off and it measures 45" from banjo center to the angled banjo. In looking on different websites and in the accessory catalog, the replacement line is 50" long. Is there a reason that braided lines need to be a little longer? Should I go with what the 'experts' recommend, or with what I know would be a closer match?

Also, Magnum calls for a 90° banjo, HD calls for 78°. The one on the bike now looks closer to 78°. Will the 90° still be ok?

The brake line is the only one I have off the bike and can measure. I didn't really want to take the other ones off until I was ready to replace, to help me remember the exact routing. I thought I would be safe to just order stock replacements, now I am not sure?

I know that my origninal line is part # 42148-08, you would think that a search on that number and I could find specs for it but all I get is a generic description of front brake line.

Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.
- Thanks

What are you putting these on? Stock bar setup? Magnum knows their stuff and whatever they offer always works great. Drew
