Default best way to lower a softail standard

I have a 07 Sofatil Standard. I am trying to figure out the cheapest and best way to go to lower my bike. Thanks

I've got an '06 FXST and I'll be getting the 422s.

The 422's are great but a set of lowering bolts for the rear are dirt cheap and work good. Progressive kit for the front.

^ Plus 1... he did say the cheapest... bolt kit and a drop in lowering kit for the front.

This is the cheapest lowering kit I have found, works on both front and rear. Only drawback to using this kit is you will need to carry a patch kit and air compressor wherever you go if you need to raise it. Watch out for potholes, they're pretty rough!

Yup, that's what I did also and when the stock shocks wear out then I'll get the 422's.
