A buddy of mine is looking at purchasing a 2007 Heritage Springer - it has 5300 miles, Samson True Dual Fishtips, black metal flake paint and detachable windscreen. The bike is very clean and in excellent running condition. He is asking $15,500 which seems on the high side given our current economy. Kelly Blue Book says a dealer would sell it used for $15,384 (with no options).
What would a fair price be given the current ecomony? Thanks in advance for your responses.
Agreed $13 is more in the ball park. Have your buddy check around there are some amazing deals out there if you are willing to wait and check on sites such as craigs frequently. I found a great deal on an 07 Heritage with Rineharts, stage 1, etc. etc. in December for $9700, guy needed to get out from under it before the repo man came. Feel bad for him, but lovin the deal i got!
