I'm sure harley will only want 20 or 30 dollars for that. I figure that since I have the covers off I'll go ahead and try to adjust the headlight up since I left it where it was when I installed the trucklite. I couldn't get the adjustment bolt to budge at all. I'm about ready to take it to the dealer to have them do it for whatever exorbitant price they want. I'm sure they have some kind of impact wrench or something. Never had any trouble adjusting the headlamp on my old Fatbob. If anybody has any ideas on how to break loose that vertical adjustment bolt I'd love to hear them.
I had use an impact wrench to loosen my headlight.

I picked up a new passing lamp switch from radio shack today. I kind of like it. It's got a red and black On/Off plate surrounding it which gives it a kind of different look. The switch only cost about five bucks.

Note to self: When reinstalling the back fork covers make sure you retighten the hardware for the passing lamp brackets or you might just lose a bolt somewhere

Just changed my rear from the avon cobra to the michelin commander II for my sturgis and milwaukee ride. Loved the avon, got around 6k out of it could of gotten more but wanted to change it before the road trip. I only have a few hundred on the michelin so can't tell you too much on it.

It was a bitch but I got it with a wrench. After lowering the rear the headlight shined up high. Indy tech said from 25' away it should shine on a wall 4' high. Been since 26 Jun my bike's been at the dealer. By the way...it wasn't the cams that started the problem after all. It was a bad flywheel which messed everything else up. Waiting on a new engine. Should be here Wednesday. Missing out on a bunch of rides. This is the ultimate test of patience for someone who now has an extremely contemptible attitude toward Folsom Harley Davidson.
