Yeah tell me about it. I miss having a warm area to work on it. But I moved out of that place and in to one with a garage, so it's what I got. Also, my handlebars are 4" wider than any of my doors, so it's not easily doable to bring it in the house.
Have to get you one of these:
It was one of the first things I started working on when we bought that house, that and the sub panel so I can run the air compressor and the welder
I went ahead and ordered a Mustang Wide Tripper seat to try and make my *** a little more happy.
I didn't realize that most of the aftermarket seats use a center rear mounting point instead of the two that the stock seat uses, so I ordered the mounting nut for that and a pair of thumb screws. I guess I get to punch a hole in the middle of the fender bib I just bought. That's kinda lame, but once it's all mounted up I'm sure it won't bother me.
There's a place with it on Amazon for $220. Most places are at $256 or higher so i figured it was worth a try for that price.
I feel like the part that bugs me on the stock seat is the 90 degree angle at the top in the back... it seems to make a pressure point right where my belt is. The mustang looks a little more curved at the top so that's why I was eyeballing it.
i didn't still get enough back support from the mustang, you sit on it, with my ultimate you sit in it. paid 320 for the ultimate, but worth every cent, wife loves her back seat
Mustang makes a few different seats that all have different shapes to them. The wide tripper appears to sit a bit lower than some of the others, so I think it should preserve the "in" the bike feel. Not worried about a back seat as nobody will be riding on the back... at least not any time soon.

Agree. Love my Ultimate, can ride all day with it. Same with my better half, she loves the ultimate back seat.
Have to say though it was the same with the Mustang I had on my old Heritage.
