custom, giovine machine works and cycle. got it off ebay. i asked him if it fits my bike and he said yes. with the eyelets on it's about 1 1/2 inches to long and thats with them screwed all the way in
Boo, That sucks...Their **** is pretty sick, sorry that didn't work out.
You could have stopped on your way home from work to meet your friend for a beer and show off your new bike and had some ignorant (and apparently blind) chick in a corolla back into it and knock it over. FML
That's exactly what happened. It was parked and I was less than 20 feet away from it. I saw her backing up and had a feeling she wasn't looking where she was going... Tried to yell at her to stop but it made no difference. ****. Less than 200 miles on it and it's now ****ed up thanks to someone else being an idiot.
Typical knockover damage... anything that sticks out on the right side. Foot controls, grip, pipes, brake lever, rear signal... bars are tweaked. Not sure if they are bent or if they moved in their mounting.
I can't find where she hit it on the left to knock it over. May have been a case of plastic bumper not leaving a mark on whatever metal part she hit... maybe the other rear signal. I don't see any damage on the tins at all.
I got her info and already called her insurance to get a claim started. She looked like she's probably 21 or 22, insurance is in her parents' names and she was crying after it happened. She was genuinely upset and sorry, so I wasn't too hard on her as pissed as I was. It sucks a giant dong but it will be taken care of.
I just feel like this crap always happens to me... I'm not allowed to have anything perfect and it always gets messed up by someone else's negligence.
same here, i'll always buy something for the bike and it's got a blem or it's always a pain in the *** to get it on, nothing is ever easy. if you like the stock bars, i just took mine off, you can have them.
