I think you are more handy than you lead us to believe!

Taking the wires out of plugs is a learning experience, I use a paper clip to do it now. As you do more things to your bike, it will put a big smile on your face when you say "I did that"!

There is so much info on this site that is so well explained that any level of experience can master most things.

I put those exact bags on my Fat for an 1100 mile trip. They were STUFFED full. Some wet roads and some downright RAIN, not a drop inside. I went with the easybracket setup from Great Bike Gear and am so glad I did. They lock on and lock off. Super easy and leave behind nice looking bolts, just a bit longer than regular, when the bags are off.
I over do things but I also applied duck tape on the inside of the bags where the mounts are to insure no moisture gets in.

My previous post is to this post, lol. I goofed it up.
AND I just realized the bags in these pics are with the throwover option. It does come with the bags and you can do either.

Default Bought a used lo last september

Had a road glide custom until September.
Bought a 2010 lo.
Took a sporty on trade for my road glide.
Selling it to my daughter.
Have had quite a few Harley's but wanted a bike to "play" on.
Love it. Going through a transformation now.
Apes, hard bags and more.
Can't help spending $ on these things!!!
Will post pics when complete

Default Frenched headlight trim ring

I'm trying to find a "satin" chrome frenched headlight ring.
Anyone know who manufactures one?
Did a search on a lot of sites and no luck.
Thanks
