added some things, i know the gas caps are not really for better function, but they sure do look cool. added some blue plug wires and a new shift linkage. ordered one a few months ago but had an issue, so i found another guy who made me one just like it.
Good choices Dan! Caps blend in well and that shift rod stands out the right amount. Glad you finally got one that fit. Blue wire go with your theme!
I used SE Red wires, I wanted them to stand out like a sore thumb, but not look gaudy!
Yeah, I do agree about the console. I go back and forth on it, but then I look at my bike and realize it looks pretty balanced with the stock one on there.
as like the contrast of the primary case and the black derby cover on it. i think we all go back and fourth on a lot of crap with our bikes. drive myself crazy sometimes
i have one other piece to put on. i have a gas cap cover that i will put on over the step cap, it's the black number 1, it has double sided tape underneath. put one on my dyna but is was a willie g skull that was chrome. http://www.ebay.com/itm/301529746516...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
my 2010 fatboy is preety much stock i have the dark custom number skull on the derby cover and the timer cover looks cool on the fatboy lo i just got the dark custom number 1 skull gas cap cover today
The Garage Leathers swingarm bag has been sold and I ordered a "Bobber Bag" from Dead Creek Cycles so I can have the quick release buckles like I wanted in the first place. I haven't decided if I'm going to rigidly mount this one or stick with the zip-tie method. There was a little stretching around the holes where the zip-ties were so that's making me think about going rigid. We'll see if I feel lazy or not when it shows up. lol
Hi Mother,
Please let me know how you like the bag when you get it, and post up some pics when you get it installed. If you decide you want to hard mount it, we can help you out with that also with our Bobber Bracket kit.
Thanks again for your business, we really appreciate it!
