i had some trouble with some custom spiked ones on my sportster. one fell off right away, but the guy replaced it. they were freaking sharp too.. but i like the ones you have
oh... one thing... you'll want to position them so the set screw is perpendicular to one of the nut faces... If you put them on at an angle, they'll loosen.
Nine months and countless hours of overtime later
Looking at different engine guards and a seat, but the Fatboy is finished for now.
Love that red. If I hadn't had a vision for my Anny, I would have traded in on that. Aggravated they didn't have it in 13. Maybe in a few years, I can find one cheap enough to use for parts.
Whose and what pipes you have there? Have an FP3 on it?

Bassani Fire Sweeper exhaust with a Power Commander V. Its funny, in the shade my bike looks red, but its actually candy orange
Older photo, the paint really pops in sunlight.

Thanks, I like the orange too. That was available in 13 but around here, everyone would think I was an Auburn or Tennessee fan and that crap won't fly.
i knew it was orange, but i figured i'd let you say so. the red i have seen is the cayenne red. also saw another dark red but it had skulls in the paint both on a lo. if you have a passenger, try these floor boards. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kuryakyn-Rea...RYRMRO&vxp=mtr

Those look good, I got a new oil cap like the one you linked. The next upgrade is the seat...I can deal with the stock seat, but the wife is over the pillion.
Backrest would be nice on longer trips. If anyone has a suggestion (especially for passenger) I'd appreciate it. If I end up sitting a little higher, I can deal with it, but I don't want to sit any closer to the tank or front of the bike (I'm only 5'11" but all my height is in my legs, don't want to be all cramped up).
