Zombie, I think you have the owner's manual and service manual confused. The service manual has a bunch of pictures, diagrams, parts breakdowns, ect and is almost enough info to build a bike from the ground up. Almost. The owners manual is the little one with hardly anything useful but checking the oil and setting the alarm codes and that kind of thing. An actual service manual is worth it's weight in gold for doing your own work. As far as videos go I have started buying the Fix My Hog series and watching them while I'm over here in Afghanistan. I wrecked the Fat Bob in my sig pic before I left and I'm getting a 2012 Fat Boy Lo when I get back so the videos are helping me get familiar with it. The series is fairly detailed and seems pretty good so far. I also got the Ride Like a Pro series so hopefully I can keep my new Lo rubber side down. I'll be attending the actual Ride Like a Pro course in Florida next year.

Yea, the service manual is what I need.. was talking about the owners manual. I was watching clips of the "Fix my Hog" series today... pretty informative, and easy to follow and remember... always more friendly then a book Although a bit costly. Lovin' my 2012 Lo
Installed a new tank bib tonight... shame I quit smoking two years ago after switching to electric cigs because that pouch is perfect for a pack of smokes.
i have that same console pouch, it fits either my EZPass or my smartphone perfectly and gets either/or out of my pocket..thought it was a good investment, except that the underside of that little clip thingie (that closes it) is rusting already. oh well.
Jim, what kind of phone could you fit in yours. I'm looking at getting an I-phone when I get back. I had one on my Fat Bob and I couldn't fit anything in there except the garage door opener. I could open it up and stick my finger in there and trigger it. That worked pretty good until winter time when my gloves were thick. I got the Flash 2 Pass after that and it worked pretty good.
What's the difference between the "Service Manual" and the "Service Manual Supplement"? What exactly is in the Supplement that they couldn't or didn't put in the 1st Manual?
