Test Rode a 2011 yesterday. it was the bike for me, definetely going to get one and going dealer shopping over the next 2 days to see what kind of deal I can get before the end of the month, just looking for recomendations or advice. pick up a left over 2010? or is it worth to get the 2011. Also, I love the black Denim, but wondering if its a hassle to keep clean or if the powder coating chips easlily or not. I live on a dirt road and put alot of miles on every season. I dont usually keep my bike looking like its going to a show but dont want it to look like crap either.
I have a 2010 you will get a better deal on a 2010 of course than a 2011. But will the 2011 you have the tach, the new electrical system and the ABS option. Whatever route you choose I recommend you go to cycle buy and get the invoice price on the model you want. It will cost you 19.95 but save you thousands if you negotiate right.
I bought my LO for about 2500 off MSRP and the dealer still made 500 bucks profit, in addition to his holdbacks and sales incentives. He was happy I was happy, but he was surprised that I knew the actual invoice pricing, said not a lot of shoppers have that info.
I have a 2010 Fat Boy Lo and I am 6' tall....On rides over an hour I notice my hip flexors are getting sore...anybody else have this issue? I am looking at doing a big ride in the next week or so (2600km/1560 miles) and I am starting to wonder what it will be like on me? Thoughts?
