My Big Shots are Too Loud!
Should've done my homework. I had V&H Shortshots on my Streetbob and, for some reason, thought that the Big Shots would be quieter since the ends are further back on the bike. So I just got them installed on my new (to me) '07 Heritage. They have the "quiet baffles" like the Shortshots on my SB but they ain't quiet. Much louder than the Shortshots. They look great but not what I expected. Anybody have V&H Double Barrels they want to trade me? They're brand spanking new. Not a scratch.

Thanks for the link. Yeah, I think I am getting too old. Played in a rock band for years and want to keep the hearing I have left. Plus, it tires me out after a while. Never heard of the smartzpartz baffles. Are they suppose to be better than V&H's "Quiet Baffles"? Not sure what the difference is but will check into it. May post mine in the parts section.

The BigShots on my Heritage are a bit louder than the StraightShots on my Sportster, because the guy that owned my Heritage before took the baffles out.
I'm thinking about putting the baffles out of the StraightShots in to see if it changes the sound much.

I wish i had pipes made by Zeus himself
