07 Softail Custom: Where Does the Headlight Harness Terminate?

Where does it terminate, under the seat?

Do you have to remove the gas tank to change the headlight harness?

Yes under the tank. You can just slide the tank back to get to the connection.

dont forget to disconnect first the fuel hose to the efi.

I ask because I'm thinking about changing the stock headlight (which wobbles & shakes uncontrollably) for a HD Bullet style light.

Does anyone know if the HD Bullet light comes with a different harness, or do I use the existing one?

There's a plug where the harness enters the gas tank area.
Get a flashlight and look, I can reach it without moving the tank.
I believe the clip part of the plug is on the bottom.
I don't remember having to change out the harness with mine.
