For those that replied to my bar question. I ended going with the wild-1 chubby 560 lowprofile. Worked out very nice. no hitting the tank or dash. Plus the pullback is very relaxed no reaching for the bars or leaning forward.
So all I am waiting on now is my seat to come back from MCSeating. Should be here monday. I also still have to remount the new led front blinkers. have the wiring ran just have to build the brackets. I think the hardest part of this install was the front axle and new spacers to get it to sit in the caliper perfectly.
Wow! I never would have guessed that I would like this set-up. A fat tire on a chopper??? OMG! That looks friggin awesome!!!! That has to be a pretty unique ride, huh? I've never seen anything quite like it. Sick!
real nice let us know how it rides also how low is it....
i just did a buell xb front forks on my bike and its low 3 inches its slammed but it looks sick.
Thanks guys
Stock height. But its a SE so it rides a little lower than the regular. I actually like to call it a HOT-ROD over a chopper. I just really like the look of the FAT front tire. Looks more aggressive. I know the ride will be affected at low speeds and the turn radius is bad but the ride at speed is supposed to be great. at least from the info I got from some. Guess we will see.
Bike looks GREAT!!! I am going to make 1 suggestion yo help flow of bike, I would look into some forward controls to replace the floorboards keep in mind just my 2 cents
