I added the Cycle Vision license plate lay down kit. I used the stock turn signals, removed the strut, and bolted the turn signal directly to the Cycle Vision license plate bracket. I had plenty of room for the bags (FL Touring). Only cost was some shorter bolts and washers to take up some of the slack.
Just thought I would update with a few pics of the new Fatboy Bagger. I'm really happy with how it ended up looking and with all the new found storage, I've quit drooling over every street glide I see.
I ended up going with the auto gem derringer turn signals and they look and function great! I haven't got any pics yet but will post them soon.
Bike looks sweet! What engine guard/crash bar are you running? Is that a Lindby?
looks very good. for anyone wanting to install the heritage style signal bar on a non-dimpled rear fender...here's the cleanest solution i've came up with. between the bar and the fender insert a chrome washer with some self-stick backing. i used a gasket punch to make a prefect circle. paper punch the center hole. makes for a nice strong mounting surface w/o screwing up the fender. steve
