Default Whining 92 Softail
My ST has 50k on it. I have a whining sound when I let of the throttle. Sounds like the tranny but not sure. I checked the primary and replaced the chain adjuster and readjusted the chain but didn't help. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked your belt tension and alignment? Just a thought. They do whine when out of adjustment.

front wheel bearing? rare but i had 3 of them so i know what they sound like

I also have the same problem, been riding any ways thinking when something brakes then I will know. But it drives me crazy, sure would like to know what it is.
