Thats what I was gonna say. Ride in a good down-pour and the let me know what you shouln't get wet. I know it sounds like I'm just being a smart *** (my wife would agree with you). What I'm trying to say is these things can take a ton of water without any problems.

i use the gentle shower to get things cool like riding in the rain and then i use the foam brush. then high pressure spay and then wax, and finish with the gentle shower. hand dry.
I am temped to try the touch-less laser wash. one warning is dont use the degreaser because some places use the kind that dulls the aluminum
Bloody Hell !!! Do you guys use roll on deoderant under the fenders too I mean c'mon..thy're cykles..stand out in the rain,get ridden in all conditions..just wash it ,leather it off and polish it.Would'nt reco the local jet wash thats all.
Just finished cleaning up my Heritage after getting cought in a nasty storm on the way back from Myrtle Beach yesterday. I'd say just don't use a pressure washer and maybe stay away from the throttle and clutch cable ends on the bars. I use paint brushes to do the engine areas and all seems to work just fine.
