Got the power commander and air cleaner system from fuel moto today. Has anyone put the commander 5 in a fat boy? If I remember when ordering it they said it was not the same install and some extra steps need to be done for it to fit under the seat of a fat boy but never said what they were. There is not a hole lot of room for it under the seat.
I have one on my 09 and no, it didn't fit under the seat. I had to put it behind the rear fender. It was not that big a deal and the benefits of the Power Commander are well worth it
Installed mine in my '07 Deuce a few days ago. It does't take up much room, my directions said to mount it on top of the battery. I had to slide mine in behind the battery. I also had to slide the security module over to the side. After you make all your connections, mount the ECM as far down the fender as you can. After you get everything connected & mounted, install your seat. If it does'nt fit down like it should you may need to make some minor adustments so no part of the seat is resting on anything.

Coronerpm could post your results after your install? It's would benefit all of us with the newer fatty's. I'm looking at the same setup from fuel moto.
I have a PC 5. Mine wouldn't fit under the seat. I don't have a stock seat and I'm guessing there are slight clearance differences from one seat to another.
I took about an half hour for both the PC-5 and air cleaner. I can't find the cable to up load pics but mounted the ecm sideways and it fit that way. Hope that helps.
