Default Finaly went with a LED Tailight
Found this smoke led light from Kuryakyn. Had to modify my stock base with a dremel but it turned out well. Everything is built into the lens,you use your stock base. Of course no modify needed for anything newer than an 86 Fxst

Dig on putting LED on a m/c. I think they're a gr8 safety add-on - was one of the 1st items swapped on my FLHX.

Will admit that some mods turned out to be a waste. Rear LED's with smoked lenses is not one of them.
