very pretty... It's amazing the difference in appearance by just changing the exhaust and removing the sissybar.
(I do see other upgrades like the lindy bars, kury grips, smoke lenses, layback plate, front light hoods)
Can you post a pic of the other side?
What did the exhaust conversion cost you? Did you retune the system afterward? Did you get a power commander or change the breather?
I'm upgrading my 07 heritage also, but exhaust and rims are my next big dollar purchase... perhaps new bags, mine are pretty shot and they detract from it's awesomeness
Here's the other side. Thanks for picking out some of the other things I"ve changed up. Yes the breathier is a screamin eagle and I rejetted the carb. Pipes, I got from rideshack.com ... Got a great deal on these vance and hines true duals...Sound is awsome! I went for the classic clean look and think I did it. Chromed out my motor also.
I know this thread has been here for a few months so I hope you are still subscribed to it. I just picked up a mustang solo with backrest. I am trying to get the sissy bar bracket off. Tried to undo the bags (heritage classic 2010) but the cap on the lower end (where it mounts to the same bracket as the passenger pegs), there is a rubber bushing that seems to just twist instead of the cap coming off. I did not want to put too much force until I got more info. Also, I bought a set of torque drivers but the one on the bracket seems like it will need a ratchet with a tip to loosen. Thanks if you could help.

Hold the metal "washer" with pliers to keep it from turning while unscrewing the nut. It will keep the bushing ("isolator") from turning and breaking.
Got them off. Tried holding the washer but failed. Left side ended up coming off just fine but the right side... bushing was already ripped. Dont know how that happened as this was the first time they came off... unless the dealer had to at some point. Solo seat on and feels great! Unreal on how much difference that backrest makes. I actually felt like I had better control of bike.
