Talking Low low low softail

I'm looking for the lowest kit you can buy to lower the rear on a 2005 softail.... I know this will jepordize my smoothness of the ride but I am going more for looks, thanks guys! Any pics of slammed softails would be cool too!

Default lower

I had mine lowered with a kit and i had problems getting a jack under the bike. air suspension is the way to go. low when you want it and up when needed. Like hspring03 said you wont want to be slammed all the time

I put a White Bros. lowering kit in mine, but it doesn't go as low as you're looking for maybe, low enough for me though.

Default lowering kit

I put a cheap $20 kit off ebay on mine and was able to lower it all the way. I had to raise it up so the fender would not rub. this is before I raised it, the fender would touch when I sat on it.

cheapest way is deflate your tires, though I hear that is a little of a rough ride and not so gentle on your rims

lol

I used the bolts and am about 2-1/2" lowerd. It's stiff as a board.
