Default Need quick help with softail fluid questions...

I KNOW I bought a service manual for mama's new 2010 Heritage but I'll be damned if I can find anything but my older '05 softail service manual. Have any of the fluid capacities changed since '05? What about the torque values for all 3 plugs? I torqued all 3 at about 18 ft lbs. Hope that's right! I need to get this buttoned up in a hurry so any help is appreciated.

Also, what a stupid place for the tranny drain plug and the tranny dipstick! Just needed to vent about that!

I believe the fluid amounts changed from 08-09. I do just what Bowers does (as instructed in manual). Not sure why they would change but they did. Can anyone explain that? Any changes internally?

I always just got with 3 quarts and 32 oz in tranny/primary.

I fumbled my way through it with 32 oz in the tranny and primary and 3 quarts in the engine. Ran it until hot and checked the engine, overfull. Time to find the turkey baster thingy.

Thanks guys.
