Nice! I have 5 miles everyday of that crap. Used to hate it but now I just feel more manly for enduring it. Have fun cleaning it!

I think it's pretty fvcking awesome that you're out there doing it! Most of the bikes I see (sometimes mine included) are trapped in suburbia.

I am going to hit the north rim grand canyon in a couple weeks. What bag do you have on there and how do you have it mounted? Looks like you're still running solo...

Thank mans, great job.

With the 200mm tire and the extra weight of that bag on the back, how could you get stuck?

That's your highest point in the state? I used to ride the Angeles Crest Highway and eat at the restaurant at 7,000+ feet elevation and that is not even the highest point! Oh well, good job anyway because it looked like your ride is way harder than our ride up the mountain.

The Appalachian Mountain range is much much older than the Rockies and mountains on the west coast. That's why our elevations are lower. They have probably several hundred years of erosion that your mountains haven't yet been exposed to. I believe at one time the Appalachian Mountains were as big, if not bigger, than the Rockies.
