Default 08 Heritage start problem

Hi all!

I have lifted the tank a bit in order to reach the hand control line plugs under the tank and purged them to draw the wires inside my wild1inc bars. I drawn the tank empty and tried to open the fuel line connector under the left rear of the tank but once screwed the joint open I could not get out more so I tighten it back.

Then when finally everything in place I put the maxi fuse back and try to start it crank as it should but don't start and the fuel gauge shows empty and the fuel light is lighted.

I fill the tank and no improvement. I checked the fuses, all seemed to be ok (will double check less tired today).

What else could cause it not to get fuel (it feels like it is not getting any fuel)? What can I have made wrong? I might have mixed two yellow wires from the left hand control but everything works nice, horn, turn signal and "long lights". When I dissembled the connector I marked both yellows and noticed when assembling that the other had a black stripe but I don't get how this hand control wire could possible influence the fuel system.

The fuel line has a quick disconnect on it. There is no need to unscrew anything to remove the fuel line.

Can you hear the fuel pump whine when you hit the run switch?. All the wires under the console connected back up?.

It was my mistake to unscrew the fuel line, the line inside was on a knot, I repalced the line from the connector to the fuelpump and now it works.

Thanks to all replies!
