All my scoots had the 21" front tire , always had a rough time on the gravel/shale roads up in the mountains , but with my Xbones , I have no issues at all....actually made the ride fun . Thumbs up for the wide tire up front

I have about a 1/2 mile of gravel/sand/dirt from my house to the highway. So I don't have a problem riding off road. The other day I rode down a dirt road, then through a cut wheat field, to get down to the river where my buddys were working. Years ago, we just road Harleys where ever we wanted to go. That included off road, and these were not dirt bikes.

It's been said but hey there lots of gravel roads in the good ole USA, done every day just stay loose and don't do two things at once, breaking, turning and remember it will wash off too.
