Default increased idle

Greetings Forum
I have a question for other softail owners. I have an '06 Heritage Classic efi, on which I recently installed the HD pro torque slipons....then did the SE A/C and ECM download ( thanks Bob!). The bike runs very well, and average mpg has gone from 40/42 to an even 46. However, as soon as I got home with it, I noticed that the idle had increased. Enough to pull me across a parking lot without stalling. I do not have a tach, so I cannot give an rpm reading. I checked for exhaust leaks and found the joint at the connection for the slipons leaking on both pipes as well as loose bolts at the heads of the pipes. Readjusted all of that...and at first I thought I had it corrected, but the high idle continues. Called my dealer and he says that they can adjust it for me on the computer.
Is this unusual? Has anyone else here experienced this?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Kind of suprised they didn't check that out before when they had it to do the download. But then again listening to some of the crap the dealers for some of the people on this site have put them through. I think I'll keep right on servicing and doing most of the upgrading for my bike myself.

Have you changed your grips? Could be the cables need adjusted a bit. Or maybe the download needs a little tweaking.

It's probably runing a little lean. I have the same problem with my wife's SE Fatboy...I had that problem on my Deluxe so I bought a DFO for it and it runs fine. I will be getting a PC for the Fatboy soonest....The dealer can lower the idle for you...When it warms up does the RPM go down somewhat?????

Hi Guys
Thank you for the replies. Bill to answer your question...no, at cold start it appears to be trying to go down in stages as berore the mods. But when it reaches full temp, the idle just stays high.
Im planning a trip back to the dealership on Thursday. It may be lean...Im not sure, but the download was the one recommended by Bob on this forum, its the race download...so without any other system to change anything, such as a SERT...Im stuck. It runs great, a little pop now and then....which makes me think lean......but the download being race should have sent plenty to adjust for that.
Any other comments are most welcome.
