Default FXST to FLST

Just picked up a 2002 Softail Standard and want to change out the fenders. Can anybody tell me what interchanges with what? I've seen fenders that have years specified but have a hard time finding anything that says 02', I'm lookin for something that will be a direct fit without any mod's needed.

Also will a FL style front fender bolt up right up to the standard front end? Do many guys run the big front fenders with 21" wheels and skinnies?

PS: If anybody has a nice set of fenders they want to dump that will fit my bike, let me know

thanks!

Default Fender Swap

I swapped out the entire front end for an FLST style. There was really no other option to get a larger tire/fender on my 2003 Deuce. I am working on the rear fender now, not sure what all it will take.

I bought this rear fender for my 05 fxst. It's a direct bolt on and very well made. I hope to get it back from the painter Friday.

I have an 05 Standard. I put a Heritage 16 inch front wheel & tire and a Fatboy front fender on mine. I trimmed the fender up and did some work to it. But before I modified it, the stock Fatboy fender bolted right up to my stock standard lowers w/o any mods. I never tried it with the 21 inch front, I'm really not into that look. I'm in the process of turning it into a bagger.

I have the exact fenders you need.
Frt is FL style made specifically for Wide Glide FX forks.
I also have a rear Fatboy Fender. Off an 02 (bolt right onto yours)
PM me for prices. It'll be very reasonable.

Why not call Klockwerks? They sell fenders without holes and may have altered one to fit a Deuce? If anyone would know, they should.
