Getting set to put a luggage rack on the rear fender of my '07 Herritage Classic where the pillion was. I'm thinking of the 7" rack from Motherwell but wanted to see if anyone else had done this and what they went with. It's $125 with 3 chrome thumbscrews for mounting.
I have the Motherwell rack in black on my Fatboy Lo and I really like the looks. Its well made and stays secure with the original seat bolts. I can swap the rack out and put seat on in about 3 minutes (including the plastic sticky thing).
Do a search for just the model number on yahoo, google, or ebay. You may find that another site has it cheaper than the acutal motherwell site. I'm looking at a luggage rack for my 02 Road King and the motherwell site has it for $159 00 and I can buy it now on ebay for $140. With free shipping. Same exact item.
