Default make your own bag stiffeners

for those of you who have made you own bag stiffeners what did you use and where did you get it.all the plastic signs i found are way to thin so that doesnt seem to be a way to do it.

I used a stiff plastic that I bought from a plastic supplier called MGM Plastics in San Marcos, CA. It's probably at least an eigth on an inch thick or more. I just cut it and stuffed it into the bags at the rear. I think I'm going to make some lid supports next. For $20 you can get a lot of plastic.

A buddy is considering using something for his Heritage bags.
He wanting locks and I sugested these,

Wonder if plexi glass you can get rather inexspensive at lowes would work?

beach ball from wal-mart. .99 each and are adjustable to how full you are. Lowes plexi if you are creative, used on my swing arm bag

then bought some PAPA bags kit.. really like them...
Dealer had them for $85.) during sale..

I was wondering if the pappa bags worked well because i have the wider backrest as u do and was afraid of the lid stiffners with the others would hinder the opening of the lids
