Drag Specialties Mini-Tach on a 2008 FLSTC

Can I install a Drag Specialties Mini Tach on a 2008 Heritage Softail? If so, does anyone have detailed instructions on how to do it, and what, if any other parts are needed to make it work? I took this tach off a Honda Sabre hoping to get it to work on the FLSTC.
