08 Super Glyde

Harley needs to recall all 2008 bikes because of rear wheel bearing problems. Mine went out at 8368. Lucky us we were in town when this happened and not going very fast. My mechanic said that when Harley changed to these bearings in 2008 that they totally screwed up! What is Harley waiting for? Do we have to have people killed befor they address this problem? Any and everyone that is having this issue needs to call Harley Davidson and complain at 414-343-4056. If I had known of this problem I would not have bought the bike I did. Now I am going to have my mechanic replace the rear axle and go to a larger bearing. It is not a good thing when everytime you get on the bike you have to worry!!!!

Rear bearing shot. 2008 Deluxe w/9400 miles. Not acceptable.

Yep,lost my rear wheel bearings at 6000 miles.Pretty sad.Wonder if the new ones will last any longer?

rear wheel locked up tighter than a frogs *** today. rear bearing took a **** 13k on and 08 fxcw
