I'm glad you posted this. I'm 6'1" and have been in the same dilemma. I'm afraid 16"s would be too tall while 14"s too short.

I'm tuning in!

Its looking like its gonna be 14s for me. This is good because the selection of 14s is a little slimmer. Hill Country makes some, so I will probably go with their bars, I won't get their cable though, I have heard some negative on them as of late

on my bones im 5'6'' i have the road6customs 16'' apes off of ebay and i love them. with my sprung seat ther are right around my shoulders when i take the seat off and just ride on the pan the are about eye level or so mayb a smidge higher. i truely recommend the 16'' you won't regret it but you can always get risers to make them higher i just don't like that look imo.

I have been thinking about the Road 6 too. What length cables did you go with?

Sumpnut, that gives ME more to think about. Lol. Well...looking at your pic, I'm thinking that I want to go with 16s. How would you describe it's feel?

Im seriously considering a cross bones for next year but am used to my street bob so sitting on a standard X Bones feels like your sitting on it not in it.On my street bob my arms ar level to the bars,on the standard xbones too but on this xbones in the pic the brawler seat sits you lower and in the frame and with the addition of the 16" apes my hands came up to about eye level..felt ok to me
Think the apes were 1" diameter 16" Burly narrow apes internally wired.

Been looking at both the new Fat Boy Lo and the X bones..the Lo costs more but looking at them both just seems you get more for your $ with the X bones.. but beyond that I prefer the X bones Bobber look to the Lo...
