A question for you guys who've relocated your turn signals from the stock mount on a Rocker to the fork tubes or elsewhere.
Did you run wires through the bars or just solder a piggyback on the wires once down by the frame? Or double up on a pin connection at the plug?
I've ordered a pair of bars from Bill at BR's Custom Bars and decided it would be the perfect time to relocate the turn signals. I'm just trying to figure out how best to wire them up.
When I put the chrome controls on, I did it the lazy man's way and cut and soldered instead of pulling the wires up and out of the bars to do the change over, (since they feed through the bottom control cover).
Since I need to pull everything for the new bars anyway, I think I might be able just route from the plug to the new location.
Bill said about 5 weeks to make up the crazy look I want. He is one nice guy to talk to.
