My wife is killing me,she wants to go on a long trips with me on the bike and my train is not doing it for her, looks like we gonna tray to get a street glide,so what do you think what is my train worth,
2009 7k miles on it perfect condition.
Son just got $14.5 on his 09 NT with stg1, V&h's BSL's, cams and SERT with dyno tune..
Had about $1500-2k extras on her also with 3100 miles on her just last month on trade in for a 2011 Street Glide.
I would say you are looking around $13k-15k. Depends on if you are trading it in at the Stealership, or selling it out right. I would always try to sell it out right first. Then after a month or so, if it has not sold, trade it. Just my 2 cents! Good luck, and let us know what you get worked out.
A lot of people buy baggers to make the wife happy and then she hardly ever rides. I've been there too. Before I'd go down that road again I'd rent a bagger and take my wife on a long trip. If she is still happy and ready to ride again the next day I'll buy a bagger.
However much you can get someone to buy it off of you for. I'd try to sell it online for a little higher than what the dealer would quote for a trade in. The Street Glide is nice. They can definitely take some turns and with the right exhaust they sound pretty nasty. Look around see what you can get and see what baggers you like.
