Let us or me, lol, know how you like the 203 in the stock 88. I have one sitting on the shelf in the garage but have not gotten around to it. I have a 2006 Heritage.
Using a V&H Fuel Pak for fuel mgmt. Not really looking to drop the extra coin in new Fuel Mgmt but if I had to do it all over again, I would have went with a Power Commander. I contacted V&H for the map settings for what I want to do and they were able to come up with something that will work....
That should work. Have a DFO/TFI and it runs great. A pc would be good if you want to spend the extra for a tune. When I installed the cams their were not any maps for cammed 88's. And canned maps are not a one size fits all, perfect fit, anyway and the bike should be tuned, costing more money.
Anybody have a part number for SE cams that will work for a stock 88 for a a 2006 Softail? Looked high and low but can't find this info. If I recall, I thought the SE203's would work but I am not having luck finding them. Anyone running cams on a stock 88? If so, what do you have? Thank you!
Have an '04 Fatboy, carbed, with 203's and they did provide some midrange bump
but not as much as I expected until I replaced the ignition control module with a
Dynatek. If I were to do it again I'd use the 204's - identical grind that is advanced
four crankshaft degrees for more low and midrange torque. IMHO.
