Enjoy that new ride. I'm sure you can baffle those pipes. I wouldn't change them out, they look great on that bike.

+1 on what Drew said. Sounds to me like you need a set of baffles to be quite happy. Personally I like the spikes, but that's why we ride Harley's and not metrics, we have the need to Personalize.

Congrats on a great deal.

Oh and I also second the advice above... "Ride the wheels off of that thing."

I like the pipes and the sound. My parking space is down a hill from a higher part of the lot, so I'll probably just continue to cut the engine at the top and glide into the space, as I did with the Sportster. The only issue is when I start it up to go to lunch or home. Maybe I'll roll down the lot a little more before I start it up now.
