I need your help, I'm putting true duals on my 2007 Deluxe and I am looking for feedback from any of you that have installed one on your 2007 Deluxe. I live in California and would like one thats CARB legal. I noticed that there are two that are, Dynajet and Power Commander.
I'm not so dead set on CARB legal as I am on auto tuning while riding. I welcome all of your experiences with these units, pro and cons
The Power Commander is made by Dynajet. I'd check into the TTS Mastertune. You can use it to V-Tune, or take it to a tuner, and have the bike tuned professionally.
I've got the V&H true duals, S/E airfilter and the Power Commander 3 - it came with a map that matched my setup. It works great, got more hp/torque and no pops on decel.
I'm not sure any of them let you auto tune while riding. You'll need a laptop for many of them. The V&H FuelPak lets you change settings by hand anytime you want. But if you're planning on doing anything more than just the Stage 1 upgrades, then look elsewhere. Otherwise, I've got the FuelPak on my Deluxe with the V&H Double Barrel Longs and it's working nicely.
So if I'm to understand, all these units do is allow you to remap your bike. What else are the advantages? I don't want to lose low end power that you do with most duals. I want increased horsepower and improved throttle response.

it all happens that way bro, a remap re configs your computer to run better with your installed mods, air cleaner, pipes, ect... It will change fuel air mixutres and everything resulting in a power boost ect
you can get the pcv with auto tune and it will automatically tune your bike.you can even set it up for better fuel economy.I just bought the auto tune for mine but didn't install it yet I have heard all good things about it.
I'm really leaning in the direction of the Power Commander. They seem to know what they're doing plus if you go to other sites they all talk about using the PC downloads. Did you lose any low-end torque when you went to true duals?
