Possible stupid question?
94 Heritage I just recently purchased was listed as having the Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner set up. It looks like a stock set up to me.
What can I look for to verify?
Came off a dealer lot so I assumed they new what was on it.
My first EVO. So far I am loving it.
Thanks.
Remove the stock cover and the S/E air filter will be behind it. I also bought mine from a dealer used and didnt find out I had a S/E air filter until maintenance time when I went to change the air filter.
But it mounts in the same filter housing as the stock filter does.
So if I am understanding you all, It is just the cleaner. I assumed it was more than that...backing plate and such.
When I see a kit for $125.. is that it? Just the filter and cover and ring?
It is a new backing plate, new cylinder breather tubes/bolts, new rubber breather tubes and an air cleaner. It's a pretty big difference. Then you can put a lot of different covers back on including the stock one.
