Just purchased an oil pressure gauge kit and I was wondering if you got to remove the exhaust to remove the oil pressure unit, it looks like it is tight there?
Every aftermarket exaust is a little different. It can be done, but by the time you waste trying to work around the pipes, you can have the pipes off in usually 30 minutes. Here is the link when I did my bike. I have footboards, and if you have foward controls or footpegs this also makes a difference of things in the way. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-pictures.html
I had the pipes off, and I suggest you do the same. Get some new flange nuts for the pipes where they bolt to the jug, this is a cheap and easy way to make sure the pipes tighten back up good. Usually the exaust gasket at the jugs is good and does not need replacing, however this is usually.
Good luck and post pictures when done.
