JUST makin sure.. i mean it was 100 bux... i just bought the RSD Headlight Relocator thru a Drag Specialties dealer near me in AZ.. the part number is 2001-0260 it has two supplied bolts 3 washers. a acorn nut and the relocator bar...
My worry is that it is bent in an angle i had prior noticed in the photos... i understand actual products usually differ from pictures but i dont know that without mocking it up that i know hy its curved ha..
Just makin sre i got the right one for my cross bones.. i attached a pic.. THANKS GUYS
meatsack... why didnt u relocate yours lower? i think it looks better than stock how yu got it.. but i thought the application was to attach it to the lower end of the suspension to make the light sit in front of the springer
I believe the intention of the product is to lower the headlight. However, the hardware fits at either the top or the bottom shock mount. On my bike, I prefer the look it gives of elongating the bike as well as raising the headlight up. IMO, to relocate the headlight lower requires the bike to be lowered. It looks funny lowered on a stock ride height bike. I'm stock ride height and plan to stay that way.

gotchya.. you've thunk it thru.. i like your chain of thought. i will experiment with both
I agree....to be honest when I put it on, I almost moved it up to the top mount. I decided to give it a few days and it grew on me, especially with this visor trim ring on the headlight now, it looks pretty sweet.....
that bike you posted is killer though. I want those wheels....
